About Alicia Townsend
Hello! I'm Dr. Alicia Townsend, and I am so happy to help you and your emotional support animal live your best lives together. I'm a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas, and am qualified to see patients via Telehealth in most of the United States through APIT and PSYPACT. My PhD is in Health Psychology, which gives me special knowledge about mental health as it relates to our physiology and health. I work with individuals experiencing many different issues, from anxiety, depression, chronic illness, pain or injury, to sport or performance issues. I have a special love for all animals, and have spent much of my personal time volunteering with all sorts of animal organizations. I have been the proud fur mom to all sorts of adopted and rescued animals, so I can relate to the importance of animals in our life.
